So Sith and a Paladin with a Holy Avenger square off for a duel. Which sword survives?
I am going Stormbringer. Mostly because it is my favorite sword but also because it is a Demon in the shape of a sword. The Lightsabre would hurt it but not destroy it.
Other worldly composition and such.

I find your logic compelling. Plus, once magic enters the equation, a lot of other stuff goes out the window.

Whichever one hits first.
No "Soulsword"?
Well the force is magic... But magic items are resistant to lava and such... I am going to go Excalibur... Especially if kitty pryde is on the team
Holy Avenger is not included in the options!?
Is the power source of the light sabre the Force? West End Games never made it clear to me.
Would the Soulsword be as powerful as Stormbringer? Are we using the AD&D rules for Stormbringer?
I don't believe the lightsaber is powered by the Force. There's a kaibur crystal inside each that powers it, so even a non-Force user could wield one, though one strong in the Force would usually be better.
General Grievous became a master using multiple lightsabers, even though he was not Force-sensitive.
