Do any of you remember OverPower, the old 90s CCG that had Marvel, DC, and even Image cards?
Well, some friends of mine have secured the rights and are bringing the game back again! Their first set will be Edgar Rice Burroughs (John Carter, Tarzan, etc.) and the World Legends (Zorro, Sherlock Holmes, and other public domain characters, even Cthulhu!). Second set is a huge, unannounced IP (which everyone will love!), and third set will be Top Cow.
I would love it if you would take a look at their Kickstarter. Consider pledging even a little bit to check it out. The art is gorgeous (they are going with only true art - no AI, and have hired artists like Joe Jusco and Marc Silvestri), and it would be worth it for the incredible, classic artwork. But the game is a blast too. They're making it super easy to collect (rares are alternate art), and easy to be played out of starter decks or via draft format.
