I don't know how Firestorm is being presented in today's "woke" DC, so I'm just focusing on the early 1980s version.
John (our intrepid forum administrator,) recently posted a video review of issue #1 of "The Fury of Firestorm the Nukular (sic) Man."
I've always enjoyed this character (in the 80s) because of his "but doc, I'm just a jock!" attitude throughout the series.
So when John decided to post of review of issue #1, I accidentally was inspired to "V&V" this character!
So, here we go:
1) Transformation (Power Activation)
a) Animated Servant: A
b) Flight
c) Non-Corporealness
d) Transmutation (atomic level)
Weakness: Low self-control. Dr. Stein cannot control the transformation nor remember his experience as Firestorm.
Yeah, it doesn't tell you anything more than the basics. But this was enough to get the OFFICIAL "John's Longbox" approval! Read the comments, peasant! Lol!
For those of you who are UNfortunate to be unfamiliar with our FAVORITE forum administrator's YouTube channel, please feel free to peruse his review of this comic and be amazed!

Well done Display Name!
Thank you. And check out the Youtube channel "The Fourth Age". RJ from that channel interviewed me!
Unfortunatly only one third of the interview survived his horrible internet connection. But he did ask me to come on his channel again soon.
John, I went to check out his channel but don't see a video with you in it. Is there a direct link you can provide?
Very cool John! Great interview.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John revisited V&V for his weekly "Sunday Comics" live stream.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7_mwU0BkEY
The video (mostly) talks about John's RPG history (yay, and yay again!) and promises to reveal EVEN MORE details about his world-building on Sunday, Nov 19, 2023!
MARK THAT DATE, TRUE BELIEVERS!!!!!!!
Well done Sir ! I like your power set for 1980s Firestorm - I loved his character design ( those puffy sleeves work, font know why).
Please forgive my boldness for making suggestions, but...
I kind of feel that he needs a heightened attribute - otherwise his hit point and power scores would be quite low, as he can take a lot of punishment in the comics (though not invulnerable)- or maybe to reflect that he's 2 people merged. Maybe heightened endurance ?
Also the old WHO'S WHO suggests he should have power blast as well - and the weakness that he can't transmute organic matter.
Such a great character, a shame DC ever messed around with him.
Cheers
